Responsibilities

1. AWS Hyperscale Management

Configure and maintain AWS EKS clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability
Oversee AWS network architecture (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups) in line with security and compliance standards
Manage and optimize services including EC2, S3, IAM, RDS for performance and cost efficiency
Implement secure Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity management following best practices
Automate infrastructure and deployment workflows using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)

2. SAP BTP Proficiency (Experience preferred, but trainable as required)

Deploy applications on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry and Kyma) for seamless scalability and performance
Integrate SAP IAS, SAP SSO, and manage identity/access across enterprise landscapes
Configure and support Azure AD as a corporate Identity Provider, including IAS/IPS proficiency
Set up principal propagation for secure authentication across services
Configure and operate SAP Cloud Connector to enable secure communication between cloud and on-premise systems
Troubleshoot and optimize BTP application and service issues to ensure uptime and reliability

3. SAP Basis Administration (Experience preferred, but trainable as required)

Install and configure SAP add-ons; apply Enhancement Packages and Support Packages as required
Manage roles, authorizations, and user security protocols for compliance and data protection
Monitor system performance, conduct preventative maintenance, and manage patching/upgrades
Work with OData services and SAP integration scenarios for reliable data access across systems
Collaborate with developers, functional consultants, and security specialists to implement best practices

Required Skills and qualifications

AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer) or equivalent practical experience
Proven, hands-on expertise with AWS EKS, VPCs, EC2, IAM, RDS, SSO, and related AWS services
Skilled in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar
Understanding of container orchestration, microservices architecture, and cloud security best practices
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders
Preferred Skills (trainable as required)
Proficiency with SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry, Kyma), including deployment and integration of cloud-native applications
Strong working knowledge of SAP IAS, SAP SSO, SAP Cloud Connector, and enterprise identity management
Experience or strong familiarity with SAP Basis administration, including user security and system maintenance
