- 3+ year’s relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Create solution prototypes for customer evaluation.
- Develop new user-facing features and applications based on HTML5/JS/CSS
- Assess the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
- Work collaboratively within a team and closely with counterparts building back-end services (OData)
- Validate solutions and investigate client-reported issues.
- Develop re-usable test automation scripts.
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience working with languages (e.g. SAPUI5, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, jQuery). (Mandatory)
- Experience with SAP Business Applications Studio (Mandatory)
- Experience in Fiori Design patterns, expertise in UI Theme designer (Mandatory)
- Experience in Fiori Launchpad configuration
- FIORI - GATEWAY Services
- Knowledge of CAP and BTP will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of Hana Cloud
- Strong understanding of the UI principles
- Capturing and tracking functional requirements
- A post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject with proven working experience
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds (Mandatory)
- Good understanding of the use of JavaScript libraries and MVC frameworks (e.g. jQuery and UI5)
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, JSON, and AJAX
- Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
- Capable of clear and concise written and oral communications.
- Proficiency with code versioning tools, such as Git
- Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
- Familiarity with SAP and SAP Fiori will be considered an asset.
- Familiarity with JavaScript libraries and MVC frameworks, e.g. jQuery, ui5
- Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt and Gulp.j
