What are we looking for?
We seek an experienced SAP Security Analyst to manage user access, roles, and authorizations and ensure the security and integrity of SAP systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP Security, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), and best practices for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Roles and responsibilities
- Work under the direction of the Senior Security Analyst and the accountable leader for the consultant Adhere to Applications Security policies, procedures, and standards
- Create and maintain SAP roles, FIORI catalogues and groups as well as assist with a potential transition to pages and spaces
- Assist with security requirements for an SAP upgrade
- Provide transparent communications to business users and IT team members
- Create and/or update procedural documentation as required
- Coach IT team members in standards and best practices for security requirements for SAP upgrades, SAP BTP, and FIORI-based roles
- Assist with the Application Security enhancement backlog
- Assist with the Application Security tickets as time allows; backfill for coverage
- Receive direction from the Senior Security Analyst on additional, specific activities needed to fulfill the role
Skills and qualifications
The consultant must have:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with 8+ years of related experience and continued professional development or 12+ years of combined post-secondary education and related experience with continued professional development.
- Experience with SAP role development for FIORI catalogues and groups.
- Experience completing security tasks for SAP upgrades
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Legally qualified to work in Canada
